Hi, my name is Sidra Khan. I am a UI/UX designer at CareerFoundry and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Emerging Media. I have always been creative, and when I found out that there is a field where an idea can be turned into something that everyone can use and enjoy, then that was very interesting and exciting for me to explore more.
I have experience in complex end-to-end designs at consumer and expertise level. I have done small courses to introduce me to the field before I got into CareerFoundry. Some of those websites include Coursera, Udacity, Skillcrush, and Udemy. All of these courses showed me what wireframes, sitemaps, and prototypes are and how to go from nothing to a product that not only the designer will be proud of but also the consumer.
People are my passion and my curiosity in human behavior leads me to creating intuitive, clean, and authentically pleasing human-centered designs.
When I am not designing new apps or software for consumers, then I like to workout, watch movies or TV shows or just relax because believe it or not…everyone needs their self care days, and I am just now figuring out how important that is.
